Chris has been using SketchUp for 10 years and has been honing his skills non-stop. His passion for all things SketchUp led him to his dream job with McCarthy in Sacramento, where he helped start a visualization initiative that has grown into a nationwide team. As a visualization production lead for McCarthy, he uses SketchUp as his base camp of all things 3D. His career now revolves around winning pursuits through compelling graphics that facilitate communicating ideas through visuals. 
He started CWeltonDesign in 2013, which provides architectural illustration services. He has a YouTube channel as well, which partners with Lumion to provide visualization training and tutorials. 
When he’s not pursuing his passion on commercial projects for McCarthy or spending time with his wife and three children, you’ll find him working on high-end residential renderings or behind the lens of a camera. 
Throughout his career he’s specialized in 3D printing, physical model making, 4D animation, VR, cinematography in architecture, filmmaking and developing new methods of interactivity in presentation.
