This session will examine processes for design, documentation, detailing, quantification, supplier and sub-allocation, scheduling, bids, pricing and RFIs… all inside SketchUp. We’re talking ‘legit’ Virtual Design & Construction (VDC).
Come with an open mind to learn how to improve efficiency by staying in SketchUp and LayOut from design conception to deliverable. You’ll see how scalable (even beneficial) processes for managing changes, delivering value to downstream participants, and ensuring the profitability of your services.
This session will examine real VDC-in-practice models across large scale commercial development (with innovative building materials), custom high-end residential, and pre-fabricated projects. In each genre, you’ll learn how model authors organize and execute projects to deliver value in important ways.
