SketchUp’s solid tools may be the most powerful native toolset that you are not using. A SketchUp modeler since 2004, Matt Wheeler has found his greatest productivity improvements from learning to incorporate solid tools into an architectural design workflow. In this workshop, Matt will lay out the reasoning underpinning his solid modeling workflow, and also teach beginner and intermediate workflows. You can expect to learn how to use the solid tools to create complexity from basic forms, and also how to speed up general model building. Finally, Matt will also examine how modeling with solids at the outset can increase the speed of making changes as projects move forward into design development.

NOTE: For this class you will need your own computer running SketchUp 2021/2022 Pro.
