Brian Benham is a mixed media artist who runs a design-build studio in Colorado. He designs and builds Custom Furniture, architectural elements, and Art using different wood, stone, glass, and metals. His focus on Art in his furniture designs has attracted clients seeking the unusual, which has allowed him to create furniture that is more than furniture but pieces of Art in themselves.
He actively participates in the woodworking community where he teaches SketchUp Specific to Woodworkers, Woodworking Fundamentals, and Furniture Design at The Wood Whisperer Guild. (

Prior to starting his design studio, he worked as a project manager for a construction company that was focused on remodeling. This was when he discovered SketchUp; it gave him a great way to quickly convey his design ideas to clients as well as to his crew so it could be built.
